Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.85%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (COP:GN), which rose 3.70% or 5.4 points to trade at 151.5 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 2.23% or 1.15 points to end at 52.65 and Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) was up 0.23% or 0.20 points to 86.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb), which lost 3.73% or 470 points to trade at 12130 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) declined 3.43% or 420 points to end at 11820 and Genmab (COP:GEN) shed 2.33% or 14.5 points to 609.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 108 to 44 and 7 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.87% or 0.53 to $60.24 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.99% or 0.65 to hit $64.47 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.06% or 0.70 to trade at $1179.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.6144, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4605.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.14% at 94.83.
