Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.66% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 1.73% or 13.5 points to trade at 795.5 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 0.86% or 4.2 points to end at 493.2 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) was up 0.47% or 1.2 points to 257.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 3.90% or 21.5 points to trade at 529.5 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 3.02% or 2.10 points to end at 67.40 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 1.63% or 0.63 points to 38.05.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 42 and 27 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 1.15% or 0.59 to $50.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.28% or 0.68 to hit $52.46 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.15% or 1.90 to trade at $1258.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.72% to 6.7280, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4410.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.67% at 97.56.
