Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Industrials, Consumer Goods and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.64%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 1.95% or 9.6 points to trade at 502.0 at the close. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) added 0.99% or 1.3 points to end at 132.6 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 0.68% or 1.9 points to 282.6 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 5.08% or 15.5 points to trade at 289.5 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 4.98% or 580 points to end at 11060 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 4.40% or 490 points to 10650.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 46 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was up 0.40% or 0.21 to $52.38 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 0.33% or 0.18 to hit $55.23 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.68% or 8.35 to trade at $1244.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.9464, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4344.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.28% at 100.11.
