Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which rose 3.08% or 1.95 points to trade at 65.25 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 1.77% or 3.4 points to end at 195.8 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) was up 1.60% or 2.2 points to 139.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 2.81% or 7.7 points to trade at 266.6 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.65% or 29.0 points to end at 1066.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.19% or 10.0 points to 830.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 64 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 3.43% or 1.59 to $44.76 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 3.43% or 1.67 to hit $47.06 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.36% or 4.75 to trade at $1311.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.6668, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4420.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.08% at 95.97.
