Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS), which rose 1.53% or 5.9 points to trade at 392.0 at the close. TDC A/S (COP:TDC) added 0.68% or 0.35 points to end at 51.75 and ISS A/S (COP:ISS) was up 0.47% or 1.10 points to 237.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which lost 3.25% or 10.6 points to trade at 315.5 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) declined 1.91% or 230 points to end at 11800 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) shed 1.70% or 200 points to 11560.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 92 to 68 and 2 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.89% or 0.43 to $48.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 1.51% or 0.83 to hit $54.44 a barrel, while the August Gold contract fell 0.90% or 9.80 to trade at $1084.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.10% to 6.7989, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4610.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.13% at 97.41.
