Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.12%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.10% or 10.0 points to trade at 923.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.05% or 1.4 points to end at 135.0 and Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) was up 0.76% or 2.8 points to 370.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 3.27% or 9.4 points to trade at 278.5 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.13% or 5.6 points to end at 257.3 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) shed 2.08% or 3.7 points to 174.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 78 to 63 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 2.65% or 1.00 to $36.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 2.51% or 1.00 to hit $38.84 a barrel, while the June Gold contract rose 1.36% or 16.70 to trade at $1240.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.5387, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4409.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.02% at 94.47.
