Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 3.90% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED), which rose 3.33% or 13.70 points to trade at 424.50 at the close. Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb) added 0.72% or 6.00 points to end at 835.40 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 0.25% or 2.20 points to 898.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which lost 6.08% or 65.50 points to trade at 1,011.00 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) declined 5.06% or 9.10 points to end at 169.90 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) shed 5.00% or 148.00 points to 2,810.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 113 to 14 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 3.76% or 2.87 to $73.44 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 3.35% or 2.66 to hit $76.86 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.50% or 12.30 to trade at $2,468.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 1.16% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 1.20% at 102.95.
