Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Real Estate and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.77% to hit a new 6-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which rose 3.49% or 27.60 points to trade at 818.80 at the close. Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) added 1.60% or 4.20 points to end at 266.60 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.55% or 13.40 points to 879.60 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which lost 4.59% or 38.30 points to trade at 796.50 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.70% or 17.50 points to end at 630.00 and Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA) shed 1.63% or 13.50 points to 817.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 59 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.16% or 0.11 to $67.78 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.07% or 0.05 to hit $71.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.75% or 20.15 to trade at $2,674.75 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.11% to 6.68, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 100.17.
