Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 1.44%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to trade at 49.75 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) fell 0.41% or 1.5 points to end at 360.7 and Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) was down 0.51% or 2.6 points to 508.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 4.65% or 468 points to trade at 9602 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 4.35% or 420 points to end at 9245 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) shed 3.21% or 12.20 points to 367.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 18 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 0.20% or 0.12 to $61.11 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 0.44% or 0.28 to hit $64.11 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 1.21% or 15.80 to trade at $1321.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.33% to 6.0512, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4486.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.21% at 90.03.
