Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.38%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG), which rose 0.67% or 2.20 points to trade at 332.20 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) fell 0.30% or 1.5 points to end at 501.5 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was down 0.30% or 1.1 points to 362.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 3.57% or 420 points to trade at 11350 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.25% or 400 points to end at 11890 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 3.03% or 17.0 points to 543.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 84 to 40 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 0.32% or 0.16 to $49.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $55.47 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.25 to trade at $1327.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.32% to 6.2227, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4417.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 91.79.
