Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 1.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 1.52% or 9.0 points to trade at 602.6 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 0.80% or 1.9 points to end at 240.6 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 0.68% or 2.9 points to 428.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 5.17% or 21.20 points to trade at 389.10 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 4.13% or 21.4 points to end at 496.6 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 2.96% or 13.1 points to 429.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 70 to 52 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.14% or 0.82 to $71.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.74% or 0.59 to hit $79.21 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 1.12% or 14.50 to trade at $1304.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.30% to 6.3498, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4491.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.24% at 93.68.
