Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Financials and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.94%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 1.58% or 9.8 points to trade at 628.8 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.45% or 9.0 points to end at 631.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.92% or 2.3 points to 251.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which lost 3.03% or 11.80 points to trade at 377.00 in late trade. Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) declined 2.20% or 7.3 points to end at 324.1 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) shed 1.75% or 5.2 points to 294.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 46 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.42% or 0.93 to $64.59 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.73% or 0.55 to hit $74.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.11% or 1.40 to trade at $1303.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.50% to 6.3199, while EUR/DKK rose 0.05% to 7.4454.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 93.54.
