Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.92%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.07% or 21.5 points to trade at 1060.0 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 1.47% or 6.60 points to end at 456.80 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) was up 1.42% or 2.3 points to 164.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included DSV (CO:DSV), which lost 4.67% or 22.4 points to trade at 457.4 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.22% or 3.0 points to end at 134.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.87% or 9.6 points to 503.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 67 to 58 and 15 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 3.09% or 1.44 to $48.04 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.20% or 1.24 to hit $57.50 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.25 to trade at $1256.85 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.5360, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4676.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.48% at 96.102.
