Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Real Estate, Personal & Household Goods and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.76%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which rose 1.78% or 14.80 points to trade at 845.20 at the close. Genmab (CSE:GMAB) added 0.50% or 9.00 points to end at 1,806.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 points to 391.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Carlsberg A/S B (CSE:CARLb), which lost 9.32% or 88.20 points to trade at 858.60 in late trade. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) declined 2.82% or 80.00 points to end at 2,758.00 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) shed 2.77% or 325.00 points to 11,420.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 85 to 50 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.10% or 0.08 to $81.37 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.13% or 0.11 to hit $85.82 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 1.20% or 28.45 to trade at $2,340.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.19% to 6.98, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.30% at 105.54.
