Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Industrials and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.59%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 0.98% or 3.9 points to trade at 403.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 0.91% or 1.9 points to end at 209.8 and Dong Energy A/S (CO:DENERG) was up 0.25% or 0.80 points to 326.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 1.90% or 240 points to trade at 12370 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.82% or 220 points to end at 11840 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.61% or 10.5 points to 643.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 65 to 49 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 3.07% or 1.45 to $48.74 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 2.04% or 1.07 to hit $53.41 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 13.01 to trade at $1343.41 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.18% to 6.2404, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4383.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.36% at 92.24.
