Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Chemicals and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.54%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.64% or 16.0 points to trade at 621.6 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 2.10% or 7.8 points to end at 378.5 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.52% or 6.00 points to 400.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.13% or 18.1 points to trade at 419.9 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.84% or 226 points to end at 7732 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 2.83% or 215 points to 7380.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 71 to 45 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 1.17% or 0.87 to $73.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.36% or 0.28 to hit $77.96 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.40% or 5.00 to trade at $1258.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.3722, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4520.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.08% at 94.11.
