Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.51%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which rose 2.56% or 260 points to trade at 10400 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) added 1.83% or 180 points to end at 10030 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 0.64% or 3.1 points to 484.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 4.77% or 17.0 points to trade at 339.5 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 2.18% or 7.5 points to end at 336.3 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 1.81% or 6.3 points to 342.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 33 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.47% or 0.85 to $58.87 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 0.24% or 0.15 to hit $63.70 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.35% or 4.47 to trade at $1287.73 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.68% to 6.2379, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.4425.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.39% at 92.68.
