Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 3.54% or 5.3 points to trade at 154.9 at the close. Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) added 2.91% or 13.00 points to end at 460.00 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 1.66% or 8.6 points to 525.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 1.75% or 5.7 points to trade at 319.1 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.63% or 4.8 points to end at 289.3 and Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) shed 1.59% or 2.7 points to 167.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 63 to 62 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.41% or 0.75 to $52.26 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 1.33% or 0.82 to hit $60.68 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.08% or 1.05 to trade at $1284.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.29% to 6.5532, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4664.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.27% at 95.703.
