Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 6.04% or 51.6 points to trade at 906.4 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 1.18% or 4.0 points to end at 343.4 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) was up 1.07% or 1.4 points to 131.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK), which lost 10.79% or 31.7 points to trade at 262.0 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 3.97% or 16.8 points to end at 406.4 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 1.90% or 156 points to 8076.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 44 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.13% or 0.76 to $66.28 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.64% or 1.27 to hit $76.07 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.59% or 7.30 to trade at $1225.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.08% to 6.5662, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.29% at 96.63.
