Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 3.24% or 8.7 points to trade at 276.9 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.48% or 23.6 points to end at 974.2 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 1.59% or 7.20 points to 460.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 2.23% or 7.4 points to trade at 324.3 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.16% or 2.7 points to end at 122.5 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) shed 1.66% or 4.2 points to 248.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 80 to 43 and 19 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 3.71% or 1.99 to $51.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 3.08% or 1.90 to hit $59.69 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.35% or 4.55 to trade at $1302.65 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.27% to 6.5271, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4654.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.12% at 95.347.
