Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.40%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 2.33% or 5.6 points to trade at 246.2 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 2.19% or 7.3 points to end at 340.4 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) was up 1.73% or 6.5 points to 383.3 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb), which lost 2.95% or 292 points to trade at 9620 in late trade. Genmab (CO:GEN) declined 2.48% or 27.5 points to end at 1083.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.54% or 6.9 points to 440.6.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 66 to 57 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was up 0.46% or 0.32 to $70.09 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November rose 0.72% or 0.56 to hit $78.20 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.22% or 2.70 to trade at $1207.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.17% to 6.4160, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4538.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 95.06.
