Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.39%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 2.61% or 10.1 points to trade at 397.6 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 2.02% or 12.8 points to end at 647.0 and Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) was up 1.35% or 2.3 points to 172.3 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which lost 3.37% or 6.4 points to trade at 183.6 in late trade. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) declined 1.45% or 4.5 points to end at 302.4 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 1.34% or 4.3 points to 316.3.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 52 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.61% or 0.44 to $71.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.21% or 0.17 to hit $81.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.54% or 6.50 to trade at $1198.60 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was up 0.17% to 6.3495, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4593.

The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.13% at 93.85.
