Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Chemicals, Personal & Household Goods and Consumer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.35% to hit a new 52-week low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 2.83% or 15.6 points to trade at 566.6 at the close. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) added 1.32% or 8.2 points to end at 628.2 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) was up 1.07% or 90 points to 8480 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which lost 3.79% or 5.5 points to trade at 139.8 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 2.23% or 8.6 points to end at 377.3 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 2.19% or 8.6 points to 383.9.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 82 to 36 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.62% or 0.46 to $74.75 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 0.93% or 0.78 to hit $84.69 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 3.10 to trade at $1191.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.05% to 6.4951, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4598.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 95.43.
