Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Financials, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 2.16% or 11.4 points to trade at 539.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 2.01% or 190 points to end at 9630 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.83% or 165 points to 9160 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 7.08% or 5.02 points to trade at 65.86 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 3.97% or 9.7 points to end at 234.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) shed 1.13% or 4.9 points to 429.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 79 to 42 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.65% or 1.01 to $62.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May rose 1.40% or 0.91 to hit $66.03 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.34% or 4.50 to trade at $1313.30 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.20% to 6.0654, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4487.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 90.25.
