Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Chemicals, Industrials and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.30%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.11% or 3.8 points to trade at 345.4 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.85% or 5.2 points to end at 618.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 0.77% or 3.3 points to 432.7 in late trade.
Biggest losers included FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which lost 2.32% or 9.4 points to trade at 395.0 in late trade. Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) declined 2.23% or 12.0 points to end at 527.0 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) shed 2.12% or 6.8 points to 313.2.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 73 to 49 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.40% or 0.25 to $62.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 0.14% or 0.09 to hit $66.12 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract rose 0.39% or 5.10 to trade at $1317.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.42% to 6.0356, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4488.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.43% at 89.41.
