Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Consumer Services and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.19%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb), which rose 1.53% or 11.4 points to trade at 758.4 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 0.75% or 1.80 points to end at 240.80 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) was up 0.70% or 1.4 points to 200.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 2.99% or 9.5 points to trade at 308.7 in late trade. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) declined 2.32% or 5.8 points to end at 244.7 and Genmab (CO:GEN) shed 1.60% or 18.5 points to 1137.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 63 to 57 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.09% or 0.06 to $64.03 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.04% or 0.03 to hit $69.35 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract fell 0.57% or 7.70 to trade at $1331.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.55% to 6.0765, while EUR/DKK rose 0.02% to 7.4468.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.49% at 90.21.
