Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Personal & Household Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.08%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which rose 1.72% or 3.1 points to trade at 183.8 at the close. Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) added 0.66% or 2.3 points to end at 350.4 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 0.59% or 2.40 points to 406.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 2.78% or 225 points to trade at 7875 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.55% or 218 points to end at 8346 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) shed 1.93% or 8.9 points to 453.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 54 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.66% or 0.45 to $67.81 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.33% or 0.24 to hit $72.83 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.70% or 8.60 to trade at $1222.50 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.3712, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.18% at 94.42.
