Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 0.07%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 2.65% or 23.00 points to trade at 892.50 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CSE:DANSKE) added 0.97% or 2.00 points to end at 207.50 and Tryg A/S (CSE:TRYG) was up 0.79% or 1.20 points to 152.20 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 3.18% or 5.30 points to trade at 161.20 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 2.48% or 15.50 points to end at 609.50 and Genmab (CSE:GMAB) shed 1.88% or 33.50 points to 1,745.00.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 62 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.43% or 0.35 to $81.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.38% or 0.32 to hit $84.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 2.35 to trade at $2,338.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.11% to 6.96, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.02% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 105.53.
