Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 2.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (COP:PNDORA), which rose 4.84% or 37.0 points to trade at 802.0 at the close. Vestas Wind Systems (COP:VWS) added 4.32% or 14.0 points to end at 338.4 and Jyske Bank A/S (COP:JYSK) was up 3.91% or 14.5 points to 385.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (COP:ISS), which added 0.31% or 0.70 points to trade at 225.10 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) added 0.46% or 45 points to end at 9795 and A.P. Moller - Maersk B (COP:MAERSKb) gained 0.60% or 60 points to 10090.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 115 to 44 on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 0.80% or 0.36 to $45.27 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.20% or 0.10 to hit $48.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.73% or 8.40 to trade at $1145.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.35% to 6.6652, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4612.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.32% at 96.42.
