Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.57%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 2.88% or 36.0 points to trade at 1286.0 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 2.81% or 24.5 points to end at 897.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 2.65% or 6.30 points to 244.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which lost 0.12% or 0.5 points to trade at 412.5 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 0.08% or 10 points to end at 11980 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) gained 0.18% or 20 points to 11420.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 101 to 27 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was down 0.70% or 0.37 to $52.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 0.50% or 0.28 to hit $55.73 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.27% or 3.25 to trade at $1196.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.23% to 6.9899, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4352.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 101.23.
