Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.78%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 4.01% or 39.5 points to trade at 1025.0 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.68% or 170 points to end at 10260 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.50% or 145 points to 9800 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which lost 0.73% or 1.9 points to trade at 257.4 in late trade. Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) declined 0.68% or 0.45 points to end at 65.45 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) shed 0.67% or 0.25 points to 36.99.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 75 to 58 and 25 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for October delivery was down 2.68% or 1.24 to $45.05 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 2.19% or 1.06 to hit $47.26 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.11% or 1.45 to trade at $1327.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.00% to 6.6262, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4436.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.33% at 95.43.
