Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Technology, Software & Computer Services and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (COP:DSV), which rose 5.14% or 11.3 points to trade at 231.3 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (COP:NOVOb) added 1.53% or 5.7 points to end at 378.7 and FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS) was up 1.14% or 3.2 points to 284.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (COP:DANSKE), which lost 2.07% or 4.0 points to trade at 189.0 in late trade. Carlsberg A/S B (COP:CARLb) declined 1.94% or 12.0 points to end at 607.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (COP:MAERSKa) shed 1.83% or 240 points to 12840.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 81 to 79 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 1.06% or 0.62 to $59.20 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 1.07% or 0.70 to hit $66.55 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 2.53% or 30.60 to trade at $1179.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.49% to 6.6723, while EUR/DKK rose 0.04% to 7.4650.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.11% at 95.20.
