Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Technology and Chemicals sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.22%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN), which rose 1.94% or 5.8 points to trade at 304.9 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 1.62% or 23.0 points to end at 1443.0 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) was up 1.34% or 5.6 points to 423.8 in late trade.
Biggest losers included AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa), which lost 1.30% or 150 points to trade at 11420 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 1.25% or 150 points to end at 11850 and William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) shed 1.10% or 1.6 points to 144.3.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 62 to 51 and 21 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 1.59% or 0.77 to $47.63 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in May fell 1.15% or 0.59 to hit $50.76 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.05% or 0.55 to trade at $1202.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.21% to 6.9933, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4337.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.17% at 101.43.
