Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Technology and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.16% to hit a new 3-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were TDC A/S (CO:TDC), which rose 1.92% or 0.69 points to trade at 36.70 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) added 1.71% or 11.0 points to end at 652.5 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 1.18% or 2.80 points to 239.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which lost 1.95% or 3.7 points to trade at 185.9 in late trade. A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) declined 1.70% or 170 points to end at 9805 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) shed 1.59% or 4.1 points to 254.3.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 87 to 78 and 4 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.41% or 0.17 to $41.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.28% or 0.56 to hit $44.74 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.18% or 1.90 to trade at $1076.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.83% to 7.0082, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4598.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.61% at 99.69.
