Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 2.70% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Zealand Pharma A/S (CSE:ZELA), which rose 9.49% or 77.00 points to trade at 888.00 at the close. Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb) added 4.01% or 39.60 points to end at 1,028.00 and DSV Panalpina A/S (CSE:DSV) was up 1.54% or 16.50 points to 1,090.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which lost 3.10% or 4.00 points to trade at 125.00 in late trade. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 1.90% or 7.50 points to end at 387.50 and Jyske Bank A/S (CSE:JYSK) shed 1.80% or 10.50 points to 572.50.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 91 to 42 and 24 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was down 0.33% or 0.27 to $81.36 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September fell 0.43% or 0.37 to hit $84.78 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.60% or 13.95 to trade at $2,330.45 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.24% to 6.97, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.20% at 105.33.
