Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Healthcare, Oil & Gas and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 2.11% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were GN Store Nord (CO:GN), which rose 6.97% or 15.4 points to trade at 236.5 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 6.85% or 26.3 points to end at 410.0 and Novo Nordisk A/S B (CO:NOVOb) was up 4.32% or 12.7 points to 307.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 1.14% or 0.72 points to trade at 62.34 in late trade. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) declined 0.61% or 4.2 points to end at 683.8 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) shed 0.41% or 41 points to 9994.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 74 to 54 and 12 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was up 0.24% or 0.16 to $67.41 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.21% or 0.15 to hit $72.98 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.06% or 0.80 to trade at $1306.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.28% to 6.2300, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4493.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.25% at 92.51.
