Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Industrials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.92% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which rose 5.94% or 27.4 points to trade at 489.0 at the close. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) added 3.02% or 6.50 points to end at 221.50 and Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED) was up 2.37% or 10.50 points to 452.90 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 5.10% or 18.7 points to trade at 348.1 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 2.45% or 9.1 points to end at 361.8 and Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb) shed 1.84% or 2.7 points to 144.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 64 to 60 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.57% or 0.97 to $60.70 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 1.76% or 1.27 to hit $70.80 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.17% or 2.10 to trade at $1224.10 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.18% to 6.5404, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4587.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.40% at 96.19.
