Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Real Estate, Consumer Services and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.42% or 41.0 points to trade at 1241.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.68% or 166 points to end at 10040 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) was up 1.59% or 150 points to 9600 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 3.06% or 7.20 points to trade at 228.20 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.24% or 4.0 points to end at 319.1 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.59% or 3.0 points to 509.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 78 to 46 and 14 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was up 1.35% or 0.85 to $63.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April rose 1.16% or 0.77 to hit $67.16 a barrel, while the April Gold Futures contract fell 0.13% or 1.70 to trade at $1331.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.23% to 6.0540, while EUR/DKK fell 0.02% to 7.4459.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 89.77.
