Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Chemicals and Personal & Household Goods sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.79% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA), which rose 2.19% or 24.00 points to trade at 1,118.50 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 1.37% or 165.00 points to end at 12,175.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.35% or 11.20 points to 840.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CSE:ISS), which lost 1.93% or 2.60 points to trade at 132.00 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) declined 1.41% or 2.70 points to end at 188.40 and Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) shed 1.39% or 40.00 points to 2,832.00.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 72 to 67 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $75.47 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 0.33% or 0.26 to hit $79.61 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 2.70% or 64.50 to trade at $2,326.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.77% to 6.90, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.75% at 104.84.
