Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Oil & Gas sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.70%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Oersted A/S (CO:ORSTED), which rose 7.09% or 27.30 points to trade at 412.50 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) added 4.32% or 17.4 points to end at 420.4 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 3.69% or 12.6 points to 354.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 1.46% or 15.5 points to trade at 1045.0 in late trade. Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) declined 1.39% or 5.3 points to end at 375.0 and GN Store Nord (CO:GN) shed 1.23% or 3.8 points to 305.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 71 to 49 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $66.94 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $72.28 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1220.90 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.42% to 6.4483, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4552.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.31% at 95.24.
