Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.

At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.46%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 4.48% or 6.6 points to trade at 153.9 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 3.17% or 32.5 points to end at 1056.5 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.19% or 10.8 points to 504.4 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 11.51% or 38.5 points to trade at 296.0 in late trade. ISS A/S (CO:ISS) declined 1.29% or 2.45 points to end at 187.10 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH) shed 0.90% or 5.4 points to 594.4.

Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 72 to 52 and 16 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.99% or 0.51 to $52.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 1.15% or 0.69 to hit $60.89 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.18% or 2.25 to trade at $1249.45 a troy ounce.

USD/DKK was down 0.41% to 6.5688, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4641.

The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.33% at 97.037.
