Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.37%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CSE:NOVOb), which rose 1.12% or 8.90 points to trade at 802.50 at the close. Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) added 1.09% or 11.50 points to end at 1,071.00 and Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb) was up 1.07% or 9.20 points to 873.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS), which lost 3.66% or 5.20 points to trade at 136.80 in late trade. Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) declined 3.29% or 15.00 points to end at 440.50 and GN Store Nord (CSE:GN) shed 2.64% or 3.80 points to 140.20.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 68 to 64 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was up 1.88% or 1.38 to $74.62 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.98% or 1.52 to hit $78.10 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 15.20 to trade at $2,641.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.83, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.03% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.02% at 102.72.
