Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Consumer Goods, Personal & Household Goods and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.35% to hit a new 1-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CSE:MAERSKa), which rose 2.54% or 300.00 points to trade at 12,100.00 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CSE:MAERSKb) added 2.53% or 310.00 points to end at 12,540.00 and Pandora A/S (CSE:PNDORA) was up 1.93% or 22.50 points to 1,186.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included GN Store Nord (CSE:GN), which lost 5.18% or 7.10 points to trade at 129.90 in late trade. NKT Holding (CSE:NKT) declined 3.43% or 18.50 points to end at 521.50 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CSE:VWS) shed 2.49% or 2.80 points to 107.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 69 to 66 and 17 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.82% or 1.92 to $70.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.56% or 1.84 to hit $73.67 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 0.26% or 6.91 to trade at $2,665.41 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.08% to 7.10, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.01% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.09% at 106.32.
