Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Personal & Household Goods, Oil & Gas and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.33%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which rose 3.51% or 17.0 points to trade at 501.2 at the close. Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 2.13% or 4.4 points to end at 211.4 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 1.46% or 6.0 points to 417.5 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Genmab (CO:GEN), which lost 3.02% or 29.8 points to trade at 958.0 in late trade. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.97% or 4.2 points to end at 426.8 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 0.78% or 5.6 points to 708.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 47 and 23 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 1.54% or 1.05 to $67.16 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.48% or 0.37 to hit $78.09 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.01% or 0.10 to trade at $1301.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.00% to 6.3813, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4431.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.04% at 94.10.
