Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Consumer Goods and Real Estate sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.25%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes A/S B (CSE:NSISb), which rose 5.80% or 23.30 points to trade at 424.80 at the close. Rockwool International B (CSE:ROCKb) added 2.53% or 70.00 points to end at 2,836.00 and Oersted AS (CSE:ORSTED) was up 1.75% or 6.70 points to 390.40 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Coloplast A/S (CSE:COLOb), which lost 2.67% or 22.80 points to trade at 830.40 in late trade. Ambu A/S (CSE:AMBUb) declined 2.59% or 3.50 points to end at 131.80 and Demant A/S (CSE:DEMANT) shed 2.07% or 6.60 points to 312.80.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 72 to 69 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.15% or 0.92 to $80.64 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 1.12% or 0.94 to hit $85.19 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.45% or 10.55 to trade at $2,339.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was unchanged 0.01% to 6.95, while EUR/DKK unchanged 0.00% to 7.46.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.01% at 104.93.
