Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Healthcare and Industrials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 0.13%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Ambu A/S (CO:AMBUb), which rose 3.77% or 6.0 points to trade at 165.0 at the close. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.70% or 154 points to end at 9204 and Novo Nordisk A/S Class B (CO:NOVOb) was up 1.05% or 3.1 points to 302.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS), which lost 2.23% or 9.4 points to trade at 412.9 in late trade. Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) declined 2.09% or 3.3 points to end at 154.8 and DSV (CO:DSV) shed 2.07% or 12.2 points to 576.8.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 75 to 47 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.11% or 0.08 to $75.22 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to hit $84.98 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.51% or 18.00 to trade at $1209.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.15% to 6.4494, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4559.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.12% at 95.03.
