Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Chemicals, Industrials and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.09%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 6.66% or 35.6 points to trade at 570.0 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.71% or 5.2 points to end at 309.2 and Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb) was up 1.40% or 4.7 points to 340.2 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 3.25% or 14.7 points to trade at 438.3 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 2.34% or 214 points to end at 8948 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 2.22% or 190 points to 8385.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 60 to 60 and 20 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 1.27% or 0.87 to $67.89 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 2.08% or 1.54 to hit $72.67 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract fell 0.51% or 6.30 to trade at $1217.40 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.25% to 6.3900, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4519.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.16% at 94.48.
