Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Chemicals and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 rose 0.03%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 4.69% or 15.5 points to trade at 345.7 at the close. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 3.26% or 7.5 points to end at 237.8 and DSV (CO:DSV) was up 3.09% or 15.6 points to 520.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ISS A/S (CO:ISS), which lost 4.54% or 9.70 points to trade at 204.00 in late trade. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) declined 2.96% or 18.6 points to end at 610.0 and Lundbeck A/S (CO:LUN) shed 1.40% or 3.8 points to 266.9.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 66 to 63 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.93% or 1.49 to $52.42 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 2.56% or 1.52 to hit $60.98 a barrel, while the February Gold Futures contract rose 1.04% or 12.70 to trade at $1238.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.35% to 6.5709, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4623.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.37% at 96.835.
