Proactive Investors - Crossword Cybersecurity PLC (LON:CCSC) has signed with a FTSE 250-listed engineering company to provide intelligence and security against threats on the dark web, a Tuesday update said.
Crossword will monitor the dark web for signs of a data leak from the engineer, which is already a client, using its Trillion platform and human analysis to spot potential breaches.
“Early warning signs of impending cyber-attacks indicators are plentiful to the trained eye,” Crossword threat intelligence director Jon Inns said.
“But finding and ranking them is time-consuming and hazardous given the terabytes of data moving within the Dark Web every day.”
Through the Trillion Dark Web Threat Intelligence Platform, Crossword can continuously track, correlate and analyse billions of stolen credentials, hunting for links with client’s information.
Trillion then “identifies the threats with the greatest potential to result in corporate damage,” Crossword explained in the announcement.
“[This] significantly reduces both discovery time and risk while dramatically increasing the observable dark space for our clients,” Inns added.
