Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 1.00% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Etb (CN:ETB), which rose 1.03% or 6.0 points to trade at 590.0 at the close. Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) added 0.84% or 100.0 points to end at 12000.0 and Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) was up 0.81% or 500.0 points to 62500.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 3.04% or 280.0 points to trade at 8940.0 in late trade. Conconcret (CN:CIC) declined 2.74% or 30.0 points to end at 1065.0 and Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) shed 2.49% or 30.0 points to 1175.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 6 on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for December delivery was up 0.22% or 0.34 to $153.57 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in December rose 0.65% or 18.50 to hit $2863.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.98% or 13.15 to trade at $1330.95 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.13% to 2889.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.84% to 893.96.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.15% at 95.35.
